Grand Gold: Thank You Video to the Katrina Class
February 2010 - A video produced by Mouton Media for Tulane University’s 2009 commencement won top honors from the Council for Advancement of Secondary Education, Region 3 and the New Orleans chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The video paid tribute to Tulane’s “Katrina class” – members of this class were displaced to more than 600 colleges in their first semester. The highly emotional seven minute video touched upon the student’s experiences while displaced from Tulane for five months and finished on a high note with a series of well wishes from the community and such high profile figures as NBC’s Brian Williams, former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden.
